Mr. Niraj Ravindra Choksi is the co-founder & promoter of the NJ Group, a diversified business Group, headquartered in Surat and has more than 26 years of rich experience in the financial services industry.

NJ Group has presence in businesses like Real Estate, Asset Management, PMS, Insurance Broking and Training. The Group is primarily engaged in the financial services industry wherein it has one of the largest networks of financial advisors in India. As the visionary founder of NJ Technologies, Mr. Niraj Choksi has been involved in providing guidance to and shaping the future of the technology business.

Mr. Vineet Nayyar
(Director, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer)

Mr. Nayyar is a seasoned Asset management professional with a rich experience of over 20 years and has varied experience of working with start-ups as well as global firms. His experience spans across operations, finance, business strategy and technology related areas. Mr. Nayyar is associated with NJ Asset Management from August 2020 in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to NJAMPL Mr. Nayyar was associated with BNP Paribas Asset Management Pvt. Ltd., Fidelity Fund Management Pvt.Ltd. and HDFC Asset Management Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Nayyar by qualification is a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and Commerce Graduate from Lucknow University.

Mr. Nirmay Choksi
(Associate Director)

Mr. Choksi by qualification is BSc. in Accounting & Finance (Honours) from The University of Warwick. Mr. Choksi has also cleared all the 3 levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Programme offered by the CFA Institute, USA. Prior to joining AMC, Mr. Choksi had a short stint as a Financial Data Analyst for ETFGI, a UK based leading ETFs/ETPs data provider.

Mr. Choksi has started as a Research Analyst with the AMC. He has been instrumental in developing the SMART Beta platform (in-house proprietary model) of the Company, which is used for creation of portfolios for both Mutual Fund and Portfolio Management Service segments. Currently, he is also heading the Business Intelligence Unit (BIU), which is responsible for overall business development, generating MIS and targets for the entire sales team of the AMC.

Mrs. Punam Upadhyay
(Chief Compliance Officer)

Mrs. Upadhyay has 13 plus years of experience in legal and secretarial functions. She is a qualified legal and compliance professional. She has been associated with the NJ AMC since 2020.

Mrs. Upadhyay has worked with the legal and compliance team at Edelweiss AMC, BNP Paribas AMC, Pramerica AMC and Kotak AMC.

Mr. Viral Shah
(Fund Manager)

Mr. Shah has 20 plus years of experience in Rule- Based funds management with his analytical bent of mind, he has been the architect of various Rule-Based investment approaches like the MARS and PMS strategies at the NJ Group.

Mr. Jasvinder Singh Arora
(Chief Risk Officer)

Mr. Arora has more than 16 years of work experience in the Mutual Fund industry. Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) from Mumbai University, a MBA in Financial Markets from ITM Business School and a FRM certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals, USA.

In his previous work profile as Sr. VP at JM Financial Asset Management Ltd., Mr. Arora was heading the Risk Management function overseeing Business, Investment and Operational Risks. He has worked in various roles across the Product, Analytics and Risk Management spectrum.

Mr.Hemal Gandhi
(Head - RTA and PMS)

Mr.Hemal Gandhi, a Chartered Accountant by profession, comes with over 11 years of experience in customer service and RTA operations. In addition to overseeing Mutual Fund RTA and Customer Service Operations, Mr. Gandhi also leads the PMS business vertical and manages Business Process Management, including IT operations, automations and new enhancements. Starting his career at NJ Group, his last assignment involved heading Customer Service Operations and liaising with RTAs at NJ Wealth Distribution. He played a key role in establishing self-help platforms at the group level. His cross-functional experience spans Customer Service, RTA Operations, Investment Operations, and PMS Investment, coupled with a strong understanding of IT Operations.

Mr. Siddharth Malhotra
(Head - Investment Operations and Investor Relations Officer)

Mr. Siddharth Malhotra holds a BBA from Delhi Institute of Advanced Studies, GGSIPU, Delhi and has over 19 years of experience in the asset management industry with a proven track record of leading and managing back-office teams, ensuring efficient execution and operational excellence. Mr. Malhotra’s expertise spans operations, risk assessment and customer servicing. Mr. Malhotra has been leading the Investment Operations at NJ Asset Management Private Limited since January 2021. Prior to NJAMC, he was associated with Indiabulls Asset Management, Peerless Funds Management & Fidelity Funds Management.
